• County Proposes Final 2026-27 Budget Revisions Without Program or Service Cuts (smcgov.org) — San Mateo County leaders in Redwood City are moving ahead with final 2026-27 budget revisions that avoid any cuts to programs or services, assuming the state makes good on overdue vehicle license fee payments. The $6.2 billion plan leans on reserves, boosts Measure K funding for housing and homelessness, and will go to the Board of Supervisors for adoption on September 29.
