“When we opened the taproom in September 2018, we had one goal: make amazing beer in and for Redwood City. With the help of our friends and family we were able to open a cool place on an admittedly neglected street corner on the outskirts of downtown and, hopefully, made it a little better,” the company’s announcement said.

“It was with the help of our friends and neighbors that we’ve been able to keep every single member of our staff fully paid and employed since March. However, with the uncertainty surrounding the future we simply can’t afford to keep losing $15,000-$20,000 per month with no end in sight.”
