Peninsula Lands Popular Korean Chicken Eatery

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A popular Korean chicken restaurant chain has opened in Redwood City.

Vons opened last week at 2090 Broadway and is currently serving up fried and baked chicken six days a week. The restaurant moves into a location previously occupied by The Bap, also a Korean restaurant, Palo Alto Weekly reports.

Vons originated in Korea and has opened over 20 locations in the United States since 2014, when it opened its Sunnyvale restaurant.

Vons serves classic deep-fried chicken and baked chicken using the same flavorings, according to its website.

Vons will soon open at locations in Cupertino and San Jose according to its website.
