Photos: Another Farmers’ Market Debuts for the Season
Every Wednesday, the Kaiser Permanente Farmers' Market will feature fresh produce and goods from vendors across the Bay Area.
Spring really is in the air, fragrant with the perfume of ripe strawberries and fresh herbs. The Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Medical Center Farmers Market opened for the season on Wednesday, May 2.
It will run every Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the courtyard between the Oak and Cypress Buildings at 1190 Veterans Boulevard.
Vendors are from local farms selling mostly organic veggies and fruit, organized by the Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association. Strawberries and raspberries were particularly popular items ion opening day.
