Redwood City residents were invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for a newly completed fishing pier.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City residents will soon be able to enjoy a new public fishing pier, which will be open and available to the community by next month.
Residents were invited to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 3 at 11 a.m. at 460 Seaport Court, the Port of Redwood City said in a release.
The new fishing pier will offer sleek wire cables for waterfront viewing, new interpretational signage of local fish species, ADA improvements and peek-a-boo decking to view the water underfoot.
