Prestigious Sailing Race Culminated at Port

The sixth annual Westpoint Regatta culminated at the Port of Redwood City for the first time July 5th. The Sequoia Yacht Club and Westpoint Harbor hosted a sailboat race organized by the Yacht Racing Association (YRA) of San Francisco Bay.

More than 50 boats from throughout the Bay Area raced from Treasure Island to Redwood City in the afternoon, enjoyed an “Island party” at the Sequoia Yacht Club, and sailed back Sunday.

This was a unique and prestigious opportunity for Sequoia Yacht Club and Port of Redwood City to promote recreational boating here in the South Bay and the Redwood City waterfront.
