Redwood City Fire Department Now Recruiting Entry Level Firefighter, Paramedics

If you're interested, apply soon! The agency is only taking 700 applications.

The following is a news release from the city of Redwood City:

Want to be a hero? The City of Redwood City Fire Department will start recruiting for entry-level firefighter/paramedic positions starting this Thursday, March 19 at 11 a.m.

“If you’ve always dreamed of working in a job where you can really make a difference in peoples’ lives, then becoming a firefighter/paramedic can be a very rewarding position,” said Fire Chief Jim Skinner.

Due to the volume of applications anticipated, consideration will be limited to the first 700 applications received. Therefore, interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications early.
