Redwood City Firefighters Collecting Backpacks For Local Youth

Bags will be distributed to children and teens struggling due to fire, illness, financial stress or other difficulties.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The Redwood City Fire Department has launched a Backpack Drive, helping children and teens in need get ready for school!

Help by donating new backpacks at any Redwood City or San Carlos fire station, the Fair Oaks Community Center, or one of four City libraries: Downtown Library, Redwood Shores Branch, Schaberg Branch and Fair Oaks Branch.
