Redwood City Hosts Free Drive-In 'Movies At The Port'

Redwood City is hosting drive-in movies in partnership with the Port of Redwood City this month.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A piece of our nation's cultural past is helping many around the world cope with some of the the challenges of the modern world amid the pandemic.

Drive-in movies are making a comeback, and Redwood City is offering local residents a chance to get in on the fun.

Redwood City is hosting drive-in movies in partnership with the Port of Redwood City this month.

Moviegoers can watch movies from their cars with volume on their vehicle’s FM tuner.

“Movies at the Port brings you a safe throwback drive-in movie experience in the comfort and safety of your own car, with 100% online ticket sales, contactless check-in, safe physical distance between vehicles, limited capacity, frequent cleaning and sanitation of our restrooms, and PPE for all event staff as required,” the city said in a statement.
