Redwood City Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 7 to 10 mph.

Saturday
Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. West wind 6 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 73. Light and variable wind becoming west 8 to 13 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly clear, with a low around 55.

Sunny, with a high near 76.

Mostly clear, with a low around 56.
