Redwood City has also scheduled a community meeting for residents of the two mobile home parks on Tuesday, January 6, at 7 pm at the Fair Oaks Community Center, which will focus on providing information about how those residents may apply for possible assistance from nonprofit Rebuilding Together to help with certain repairs to their homes in the mobile home parks.

The unfortunate flooding and displacement of residents at the mobile home parks is of great concern to Redwood City. Its role during and after the storm included fire department assistance with evacuation, public works crews who pumped out the standing water and delivered sandbags, shuttle transportation and a range of emergency services provided by the City’s Fair Oaks Community Center, tailored to meet the need of individual households.
