Redwood City Police Recruiting Teens For Special 'Youth Academy'
Police are looking for local teens to take part in the first ever Youth Academy.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City police are looking for local teenagers who would like to learn more about law enforcement and what they do. The Redwood City Police Department is hosting the first-ever "Youth Academy" to be held this summer.
The three-day course will run in July and only 15 teens between the ages of 14 and 17 will be accepted into the program, officials tell Patch. Officials hope to make it an annual event.
The course contains information related to how officers train, what they do to help in the community and more.
