El Camino Real in Redwood City reopened Saturday morning following a fatal collision Friday night.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — El Camino Real in Redwood City reopened Saturday morning following a fatal collision Friday night.
The Redwood City Police Department reported Friday night two people were killed in the collision, which occurred in the area of El Camino Real and Finger Avenue.
Police said the collision occurred at approximately 7:56 p.m. Friday.
Responding officers located two vehicles on the west sidewalk of El Camino Real with major damage and one vehicle on fire.

Officers utilized fire extinguishers from their patrol vehicles to put out the fire.
A 17-year-old juvenile driver and two passengers were located inside this vehicle. All three were transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.

Two adults located in the other vehicle were later confirmed deceased, police said. Police reported on Saturday at around 5:15 a.m. the roadway had reopened.
