Redwood City Street Closed for 9+ Hours Following Water Main Break
The cause of the break is unknown.

A street was closed and water service disrupted for more than eight hours Monday near Redwood City due to a water main break, according to police.
Redwood City police reported the broken pipe at 8:48 a.m., prompting the closure of Sylvan Way between Glenloch and Lakeview ways in the community of Emerald Hills.
It wasn’t until after 6:30 p.m. the water was back in service on Sylvan Way, according to police.

However, at that time, a partial road closure remained in effect.
