REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City could soon be the latest to ban the sale of flavored tobacco popular with teens.
The City Council voted to ban the sale of flavored tobacco in addition to prohibiting the sale of tobacco at pharmacies. The ordinance would also prohibit the new hookah lounges from opening in the city, reported The Daily Journal.
The ban goes before the City Council for final approval Dec. 20, and if it passes, it would take effect in 2022, the Journal reported.
