Roadside Brush Fire Along Hwy 280 Quickly Doused
Firefighters made quick work of the brush fire, knocking it down in less than 15 minutes.
Firefighters responded to a small roadside brush fire along state Highway 280 in Woodside this morning, according to Cal Fire and the CHP.
The incident was reported around 11:45 a.m. along southbound Highway 280 near the Woodside Road off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fire was small, and under control by 11:57 a.m., according to Cal Fire. Further details about the cause of the fire and the extent of any damage were not immediately available.
