The District’s mosquito control program is one of the oldest in the United States, and has operated continuously since 1916. Our centennial celebration honors a century of hard work and dedication by the staff and trustees of San Mateo County Mosquito and Vector Control District and its predecessors, San Mateo County Mosquito Abatement District, Three Cities Mosquito Abatement District and Pulgas Mosquito Abatement District. Thanks to their tireless work, San Mateo County is a healthier and more comfortable place to live, work, and play.

Please feel free to share this invitation with your neighbors, friends, family, and coworkers – everyone is welcome! No RSVP is required. We’ll be celebrating with laboratory tours, demonstrations, children’s activities, insect displays, and much more.
