San Mateo County Firefighters Remind Residents of Smoke Detector Safety Measures

The San Mateo County Firefighters’ Association is reminding local residents of the importance of having working smoke detectors in all homes.

President John Wurdinger says the agency recommends you change your smoke detector batteries twice a year-- right around daylight saving time.
