Each week, the Clean Team reports graffiti, illegal dumping, and large trash items to both Public Works and Recycleworks. Each Thursday, the SAL Green Team joins the Clean Team in an effort to clean local neighborhoods throughout the unincorporated areas of Redwood City. To date, the teams have collected about 12 bags of garbage each week!
Guest speakers from RecycleWorks provided the leaders and youth with an educational presentation about recycling and the environment and both teams were able to visit the Shoreway Environmental Center for a field trip.
