More snow is expected in the mountains this week. Check the road conditions before you head out.

More snow is expected in Truckee and Tahoe starting Wednesday night and could impact the drive for those traveling along I-80, forecasters said. Thousands from around the peninsula hope to head to the mountains to enjoy the piles of fresh powder but drivers are urged to check the road conditions before hitting the road. Officials ask drivers to bring chains and expect delays.
