The sun is shining in Truckee and Tahoe but more snow is predicted this weekend, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service. Residents from around the peninsula hope to head to the mountains to enjoy the piles of fresh powder but drivers are urged to check the road conditions before hitting the road. Officials ask drivers to bring chains and expect delays.
