Snow Report for Peninsula Residents Headed to Tahoe: March 15
Officials ask drivers to bring chains and expect delays.
Truckee and Tahoe visitors will get a break from the snow storms and highs are expected to reach 40 degrees over the next few days, according to forecasters. Rain is likely between Wednesday to Sunday.
Residents from around the peninsula hope to head to the mountains to enjoy the piles of fresh powder but drivers are urged to check the road conditions before hitting the road. Officials ask drivers to bring chains and expect delays
