Snow Report for Peninsula Residents Headed to Tahoe: March 22
The spring storms could cause some traffic headaches for those headed to the mountains. Drivers should bring chains and expect delays.

Snow is predicted for Truckee and Tahoe for much of the week and into the weekend, forecasters said. The National Weather Service issued an alert for the area for Wednesday morning due to the likelihood of heavy snowfall.
Residents from around the peninsula hope to head to the mountains to enjoy the piles of fresh powder but drivers are urged to check the road conditions before hitting the road. Officials ask drivers to bring chains and expect delays
