Snow Report For Peninsula Residents Headed to Tahoe: March 29
Although temperatures in Truckee and Tahoe seem to be creeping up a bit, drivers are encouraged to bring chains when traveling.

Spring seems to be hinting about her impending arrival to the mountains. The snowfall has slowed significantly. The frequent appearance of sunshine is helping to bring those chilly temperatures up and starting to thaw things out a bit.
Residents from around the peninsula hope to head to the mountains to enjoy the piles of fresh powder but drivers are urged to check the road conditions before hitting the road. Officials ask drivers to bring chains.
