Snow Report For Peninsula Residents Headed To Tahoe: May 3
Forecasters say temperatures in the mountains will likely drop by the end of the week.

Although temperatures in Truckee and Tahoe are warmer this week, forecasters say they will drop toward the end of the week and through the weekend. Locals say there is still plenty of time to enjoy the remaining snow.
Drivers are urged to always check the road conditions before hitting the road. Officials ask drivers to bring chains and expect delays.
