'Spooktacular' Halloween Weather On Tap For Redwood City

As we head into Halloween week here on the Peninsula, weather forecasters are predicting a great outdoor setting for all those ghouls, goblins, fairies and other trick-or-treaters in your life.

"The Halloween forecast is expected to be spooktacular!" the National Weather Service says of this Tuesday in the Bay Area.

Dry, seasonal averages are expected through midweek — before the weather takes a wet turn later in the week, the NWS said in its forecast discussion on Monday.

"A significant change in the weather pattern is then likely late in the week that will bring widespread rainfall to the region through the upcoming weekend," forecasters said.

Here's the NWS Halloween weather forecast for Redwood City, along with what you can expect the rest of the week:

Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Light and variable wind becoming west northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Mostly clear, with a low around 49. West southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the evening.
