STARTING A BUSINESS ON eBAY:

From individuals to nonprofits. Phase2Careers in conjunction with the Friends of the Redwood City Library, will sponsor: STARTING A BUSINESS ON eBAY: From individuals to nonprofits.

Held on Tuesday, May 8, from 10am-12noon at the Redwood City Public Library located on 1044 Middlefield Road in Redwood City. Attendees will learn about buying and selling on eBay, what it takes to get started, and how to research your items to determine market value.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS  Wondering what to do with a collection of treasures you no longer need? Would you like to turn those treasures into cash, or perhaps start a part or full-time business selling products online? eBay can open up your items to a worldwide marketplace.  Learn about eBay to benefit nonprofits. About the Presenter: Nancy C. Nelson,

SHRM-SCP is the principal of HRProse, LLC, an HR consultancy dedicated to developing HR policies and practices that work for small and growing businesses. Established in 2006, Nancy works with companies in technology, manufacturing, service, non-profit, education and other sectors. She is the program chair for the HR Management program at UC Santa Cruz Extension, Silicon Valley. When not working in the HR world, Nancy runs a part-time eBay business selling vintage and collectible items. She has been selling on eBay since 2002. She is an eBay educator, having trained and coached hundreds of beginning sellers. She is also a co-organizer of the Bay Area eBay Sellers group.
