Teen Arrested in Redwood City Bakery Hold-Up
Sheriff's officials said the suspect entered the bakery, brandished a knife and demanded money.

Police apprehended a 17-year-old suspect in the armed robbery at a bakery Monday in San Mateo County, sheriff’s officials said.
Deputies were dispatched at about 4 p.m. to the robbery in progress at The Golden Glaze Bakery at 2780 San Mateo Ave. in Redwood City, sheriff’s officials said.

Sheriff’s officials said the suspect entered the bakery, brandished a knife and demanded money.
When deputies arrived they saw a person matching the description of the robber running from the bakery, sheriff’s officials said. Sheriff’s officials said deputies apprehended the suspect without incident after a short foot pursuit.
