Friday's Fundraiser to take Wheelchair Vets Out on the Bay

Join us this Friday August 9 at 7pm at our Yacht club below Docktown's historic water tower where we are hosting a fundraiser for the 17th annual PICYA Veteran's Wheelchair Regatta, which takes wheelchair-bound veterans out on the water every year.

We are also collecting books for the veterans, many of them confined to hospitals and other medical facilities without adequate reading materials, so please bring volumes of gently used veteran appropriate books you want to donate.

 For $10 for dinner you will get a fabulous meal prepared by PICYA Rear Commodore Liz Alison with help from Lilley Yee and other volunteers from PYC, consisting of

Chicken A L'Orange
Rice
Salad
Dessert

Can't make the dinner but want to participate?

We will be offering a FREE dessert with a donation of 3 gently used Veterans appropriate subject.
