This year's Rising Stars attracted submissions nominated by visual art teachers from 14 Marin County high schools. A panel of volunteer judges, including Marissa Gianno of Marrow Gallery, Sarah Shepard of Sarah Shepard Gallery and Travis Weller of Look West Gallery, blindly adjudicated the work.
Awards will be presented for best in show, best in category, merit and honorable mention.
