TRAFFIC ALERT: All Westbound Lanes of Hwy 92 Closed After Oil Spill

Lanes are closed in the Foster City area, according to the CHP.

The California Highway Patrol has closed all westbound lanes on state Highway 92 in Foster City just west of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge Tuesday morning because of a diesel oil spill caused by a collision.

A big-rig crashed at 8:56 a.m. near the Foster City Boulevard on-ramp, causing the oil spill, according to the CHP.

CHP officers are turning westbound traffic around at the bridge toll plaza in Hayward.

The Foster City Fire Department is on the scene responding to the oil spill.
