Dog owners in the Bay Area are invited wash their dogs to help raise money for local police dogs. On July 16 and 17, simply use the self-service pet wash for $15 at any Pet Food Express store and you'll be contributing to the cause.
All of the money goes to Cover Your K9, which is a nonprofit organization that provides important training and safety equipment like bullet-proof vests, police car heat alarms and K-9 trauma kits. The goal is to raise more than $150,000 in two days.
