Watch as Firefighters Save Trapped Deer in San Carlos

The deer got caught in some netting and had to be cut free.

Firefighters recently saved a deer trapped in a net in San Carlos morning, and there’s a great video to prove it.

Around 7:15 a.m. on Friday, fire crews from Redwood City and San Carlos responded to a report of a large buck stuck off of Carmelita Avenue, Redwood City Fire Department officials posted on its Twitter page.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies also responded to the rescue.

A 10-second video posted on the department’s Twitter page and Vimeo account shows a deputy and emergency responder removing the netting from the deer’s horns.

It’s not clear how the deer got all tangled up.
