Young Genius‘ students form Saratoga, CA, Anoohya Panidapu, a 6th grader and her sister Apoorva Panidapu, a 4th grader won the National Wide Math Competition!
Anoohya and Apoorva Panidapu were invited to attend the National Mathleague Championship, after winning in California state tournament held in UC Davis, CA on May 3rd, 2015. The National tournament took place at SEC Auditorium in University of Houston, Texas on June 6th, 2015. The tournament was a 2.5 hours test with 4 different rounds consisting of Individual and Team rounds. Kids from different states who won in their state championship were invited and competed in this Championship. It was a tough competition from all states especially Texas, California, Missouri and New Jersey.
Anoohya Panidapu won in the individual round and the team rounds with her team mates from Tom Matsuomoto Elementary school.
Apoorva won the individual rounds.

Now on June 14-19, 2015, YG’s student Anoohya, Rithvik Agastya and Anish Sundar will compete at the National Speech and Debate Tournament in Dallas, Texas.
