• Ridgecrest, 2 other cities granted temporary Caltrans roadside signage exception (kget.com) — Ridgecrest drivers and business owners will see new highway logo signs after a state bill granted the city a rare exemption from Caltrans' usual rules along Highway 395. The change, in effect until 2037, aims to better alert motorists to Ridgecrest's off-highway food, fuel, and lodging options along a long, sparsely served corridor.
