• Northlake Development Poised to Get First Retail Shops, Grocery Store (riolindaonline.com) — Rio Linda residents who drive to Natomas for groceries may soon have closer options, as a proposed Northlake Commons center in North Natomas would add a full-size supermarket and several drive-through restaurants near Elkhorn Boulevard. The project has just entered Sacramento’s formal review process, with infrastructure upgrades and public hearings still ahead before anything can be built.
