• City secures more than $31 million for senior and veteran housing project (sacramentocityexpress.com) — A major state grant will fund the Rio Linda Senior Housing Project on Rio Linda Boulevard in North Sacramento, creating 100 permanent supportive units for low-income seniors and senior veterans. Construction is slated to start in February 2027, with residents paying no more than 30% of their income for rent and receiving on-site services and community amenities.
