• Bears spotted in residential area of Roseville and Rocklin (fox40.com) — Police are warning residents after a bear was spotted Tuesday in a Rocklin neighborhood near Argonaut Avenue, Sweetwater Drive, Aiken Dairy Road, and Skyline Drive, followed by another sighting Wednesday in Roseville. Officers and Animal Control are patrolling while advising locals to secure food sources, leash pets, and give any bear plenty of space to move on safely. 
• Galt High Cheerleaders Take Home the Hardware at UCA Camp, Land Seven on the All-American Team (galtherald.com) — A major regional cheer camp at Jessup University in Rocklin saw Galt High’s varsity and JV squads bring home top trophies and seven UCA All-American honors. Over four intensive days in Rocklin, 53 athletes trained, competed, and dramatically raised the program’s profile heading into the new school year.
