• Off‑duty lieutenant saves man who collapsed at gym (ca.gov) — Rocklin emergency crews and an off-duty Rocklin police officer helped save a 61-year-old man who went into cardiac arrest at a local gym, where an off-duty prison lieutenant led CPR and AED efforts. The man was transported to Sutter Roseville, treated, and has since been released in good condition, drawing praise for the responders’ quick actions.
