$20,000 Reward For Killers Caught On Video
The surveillance video shows the flashes of the gunshots across the street, and then the suspects running toward the camera.

OAKLAND, CA —Oakland police are asking for the public's help in solving the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man in East Oakland in August.
Chrystian Valdez Negrete was shot to death in the 4500 block of International Boulevard just before 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 11.
Oakland police on Thursday released photos and surveillance camera footage of the homicide and announced that a total of $20,000 in reward money is being offered for help in identifying the shooter and two other suspects who were with him.

Police said the surveillance video shows the three suspects walking east in the 4500 block of International Boulevard just before the shooting.They said the footage shows the suspects suddenly turning west and at least one suspect indiscriminately firing a gun into a crowd of people who were standing about a block away.
Police said the shooting killed Valdez Negrete and injured another person.

The video surveillance shows all three suspects running across International Boulevard toward Bancroft Avenue after the shooting.
The reward money is coming from both the Oakland Police Department, which is offering $10,000, and the Bay Area Beverage Company, Valdez Negrete's employer, which is offering an additional $10,000.
