3-Alarm Oakland Fire Burns Overnight

The triplex fire started nearby vegetation on fire.

OAKLAND, CA —Oakland Fire Department crews have extinguished a three-alarm fire at a two-story triplex that started on Monday night, according to fire officials.

The blaze was first reported around 8:54 p.m. Monday in the 2300 block of 83rd Avenue, fire officials said, and involved at least two units, extending to brush and trees behind the home.

Fire officials didn't provide any information on injuries in the blaze or when the fire was extinguished.
