5 Men Shot To Death In Oakland Since Thursday
Three of the victims were identified Monday. Police haven't disclosed information about motives or suspects in any of the 5 homicides.
OAKLAND, CA — Oakland police today released the names of three of the five men who have been fatally shot in East Oakland since Thursday night.
A man fatally shot in the 8500 block of International Boulevard at 8:41 p.m. Thursday was identified as 41-year-old Gerald Easterling of Vallejo.
A man fatally shot in the 4000 block of Foothill Boulevard at 2:18 a.m. Saturday was identified by police as 47-year-old Kenneth Smith of Oakland.

A man fatally shot in the 2600 block of Ritchie Street near Arroyo Viejo Park was identified as 42-year-old Marcus Irvin of Oakland.
Police haven't yet released the names of a man who was fatally shot in the 4000 block of Fleming Avenue at about 9:05 p.m. Thursday or the man who was fatally shot in the 1400 block of 90th Avenue at 2:46 a.m.
Sunday.
