Man Shot to Death Near Oakland Church
The shooting occurred outside the Primera Iglesia Pentecostal Church.

OAKLAND, CA — A man was killed and three other people were wounded in a shooting near a church in East Oakland early Sunday morning, police said.
Officers who responded to a report of an armed suspect in the 2500 block of Mason Street, near Foothill Boulevard, at about 1:06 a.m. on Sunday found the man suffering from a gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The other three victims, who are all Oakland residents, suffered minor injuries are expected to make full recoveries, police said.

The man who died is an adult male from Oakland but police said they're withholding his name pending notification of his family.
The shooting occurred outside the Primera Iglesia Pentecostal Church. There also are four other churches in the area.

Oakland police haven't released any information about a motive or suspects in the shooting.
