One Arrest Following Hit-And-Run Crash

OAKLAND, CA — At least one person has been arrested and another transported to a hospital after a hit-and-run collision on eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in Oakland early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said the collision was first reported at 1:47 a.m. on the freeway just east of Grand Avenue.

No further information is immediately available.
