Saturday: Help Plan Oakland Tech's Centennial
Oakland Technical High School will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2014-2015. A planning session for volunteers is scheduled at the school Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m.
Oakland Technical High School will celebrate its centennial in the 2014-2015 academic year, and the Centennial Planning Committee is looking for alumni and other community members to help plan and staff anniversary events.
The committee will hold a planning meeting Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m. in the school library, 4351 Broadway. Those interested in volunteering are encouraged to attend.
