Suspect With Gun Arrested After Tactical Response

The suspect was in a car, in the area of 36th and Peralta.

An unresponsive suspect with a gun was arrested in West Oakland this morning, according to police.

Around 7:30 a.m. officers responded to the vicinity of 36th and Peralta on reports of an unresponsive person in a car with a firearm in his or her lap, according to Oakland police Lt. Chris Bolton.

The suspect was safely arrested at 8:02 a.m. after a full tactical response, Bolton said.
