1 Dead, 3 Injured In Rollover Crash Along U.S. 101 In Sonoma Co.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A young man from Lake County died and three teenage boys suffered injuries — one critically — Saturday night in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 101 south of Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP responded at 11 p.m. to the incident along U.S. 101 near Todd Road. The 23-year-old driver of a Ford Mustang had been traveling in the northbound fast lane when for reasons still under investigation, he lost control of the Mustang and it began to spin out, CHP officials said.

The car went across northbound freeway lanes to the right shoulder, where it rolled and struck a tree, according to the CHP.
