2 Suspicious Fires In Rohnert Park On Sunday
Public safety officials are investigating two suspicious fires that occurred Sunday in Rohnert Park.

ROHNERT PARK - Public safety officials are investigating two suspicious fires that occurred Sunday in Rohnert Park.
The first fire occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on the Five Creek footbridge at Eagle Park, located at the corner of Emily Avenue and Ellen Court.
A person set fire to the bridge, which caused damage to some of the boards of the walkway, according to public safety officials.

The fire was quickly extinguished and the bridge will be closed and repaired this week.
The second fire occurred at about 4 p.m. on the Santa Rosa de Laguna Trail between Redwood Drive and Labath Avenue, public safety officials said.

Someone lit some small fires in the shrubbery along the path. The fires were quickly extinguished before any buildings along the path sustained damage, according to public safety officials.
