Danesha Morales, 26, and Breanna Lewis, 36, both of San Fransisco, face arson charges in connection with the Jan. 9 blaze.

Police were first called to the blaze at the complex in the 1000 block of Golf Course Drive at about 1 a.m. on Jan. 9. During the time of the initial investigation, it was unclear on how the fire started, and the resident was not home at the time of the blaze, police said.

During the investigation, detectives determined the condominium had been vandalized and the fire had been intentionally set. Police say Lewis and Morales conspired to damage the victim's home and set it on fire and that "this was not a random act of violence."

Morales was arrested on March 2, and Lewis was arrested on March 31. Both were booked into the Sonoma County Jail on the charges.
