When they finished, the three boys went outside to play basketball where they encountered the older teen who was skateboarding, Crum said.
The teens got into an argument about gang-related issues and one of them stabbed the victim, Crum said. The suspects contacted an adult at the forum who drove the three suspects to a Food Maxx grocery store on Sebastopol Road, Crum said.

Sheriff's deputies arrested the three teens who were booked in Juvenile Hall for assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury and gang enhancements, Crum said.
Deputies found a pocketknife on school grounds that likely was the weapon, Crum said.
Deputies said they are withholding the suspects' names due to their ages, and the victim's name due to "the violent nature of the crime."
