3.2 Magnitude Quake Rattles Napa

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a second minor earthquake this morning near Napa. A 2.5 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in Green Valley, about seven miles east southeast of Napa.

The earthquake was reported at 6:37 a.m. A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was reported at 1:56 a.m. about five miles south southwest of Napa. There have been no reports of damage or injuries.

The earthquakes come a week after the 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit Napa on Aug. 24, causing an estimated $300 million dollars in damage. That earthquake was the biggest to hit the Bay Area in nearly 25 years.
