Active Shooter Training Today In Rohnert Park

ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — Active shooter training will be happening at Rancho Cotate High School from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. today, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.

People living or working near the campus may hear yelling, loud noises, or simulated explosions during the exercise, the agency warned.

Officials said the sounds are part of planned training and do not indicate an emergency.

The public should avoid the school until the training concludes to allow emergency personnel to conduct the exercise safely and without interruption, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
